Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt before theflop. It is the strongest possible pre-flop hand inholdem Poker. But regardless many bettors find themselves on the losing end when given these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You are sitting with the greatest possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I would say no to that.
Always remember, you’re looking to earn as much profit from this strong position. You will want to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will simply scare most individuals into dropping out and not laying a wager.
If you’re in the starting spot (1st or second to actually bet), you’ll place a single wager. Any person with a good hand will call, with luck a player will raise. If there has been a raise don’t hop to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your course of action will be to eliminate anyone that could be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re fortunate you’ll trick one player into thinking that you are faking it.
If you’re in the middle or late spot (near the last to wager) you will observe as everyone calls and then raise. Even though you are sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Guard your hand by making the other players drop out following the flop. If you do not drive out your competition you chance squandering your hand.
