Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about any other, more experienced individuals taking their moolla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, newcomers are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty choices.

It is also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with just a little bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer receives 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
