Web poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, including a figure on par with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out cash even with your ante and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
