Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players attain 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a sum on par with the original bet. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pays money equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
